Stewie is in the body shop

Postby PRD2BDF » Thu Mar 04, 2010 9:52 pm

Dropped it off this morning at 8am, was expected to be returned back tonight but apparently there's a bunch of little teensy bits that the icy snow-bank broke off...so I should hopefully be getting it back tomorrow.

Now I just need to settle on rims since I keep going back and forth between several rims.

Oh my god, that is one thick tire, is that the size you need to maintain correct speed on the speedometer?

Nope. I need to consider the function of the truck first and not the speedo. I can always have it recalbirated.

The speedo will be 10% off so when it says 60 I will be doing 66. I do have a GPS that will have the correct speed.

Stewie is back from the body shop!

Stewie is now sporting an Aero front lip spoiler and an Aero rear trunk spoiler. He looks goooooood....

Now I just need some damn rims.

Please turn a blind eye to the shitty rims and the grille, I will probably plan on doing something with the grille when it's warm.

And the sidemarker, although I had it here, has been misplaced, the body shop ordered a new one and will be here next week.

looks great. I just learned that the Saab 9-3 Coilovers work on my Aura... Might have to drop it. I'll let you know if I see a deal out there.

Are you thinking about a mesh screen in the front openings?
